Safe Lights Program Initiated

The Association has begun replacing the lamp post lights with a standardized 15 watt bullet light. Electric eyes are also being tested and replaced if defective.

All of this is part of a safe life program approved by the owners this year to deal with the chronic lighting problem.  Prior to this program, on a typical night, 18-23% of the lights we not working.  Additionally, 19% of the lights were not turning off during the day.

The cost to operate this high efficiency 15w bulb for 10-12 hours a day is $6.00 per year.  This bulb should last for more than a year.   Clean consistent look. Good for safety.  Good for the economy.
